Seeing a gap in the haulage market in Western Australia, the idea for WA Haulage Group was born in late 2020, with the goal of establishing the company as the state’s premier mined materials and earthworks carrier. Built on the proven success and knowledge of our founding Directors, WA Haulage Group looks to draw upon this experience as we develop capability across the mining and construction industries, with operations right across the state from Kalgoorlie to the Kimberley’s.

Our Mission

We pride ourselves on our modern fleet of trucks and equipment. To minimise down time and ensure our fleet remains compliant with all government and industry specifications, WA Haulage Group have developed our own internal workshop capability which includes both large, fixed workshop facilities and mobile and/or contract/site-based mechanics and fitters.

In addition, WA Haulage Group maintains a large network of reputable, licenced and experienced truck and equipment subcontractors; enabling us to provide our clients with a range of options to fulfil their contract requirements within their required timeframes.

MEET OUR TEAM

Dan

With over 16 years of experience in the plant hire and haulage industry, and extensive experience developing successful plant hire and haulage entities from the ground up, Dan Fulton’s record as a business owner is impressive.

Having started his first business in 2005 with two other partners, they grown to become a successful group of companies whose operations span both sides of the country, with capabilities that include civil works, crushing and screening, plant hire and haulage.

Dan’s first love has always been plant and equipment and seeing an opportunity in the market, he joined with partner Harry Gee in 2020, to develop Western Australia’s premier transport entity, WA Haulage Group. His proven leadership, strategic thinking and in-depth knowledge and understanding of the industry, will enable WA Haulage Group to continue to expand its capability and realise its potential for success.

Harry

Beginning his career in his family’s building company in Southern Victoria, Harry grew and developed alongside the business to learn the fundamentals of business management, client engagement and the value of a strong work ethic.

From this work, Harry developed experience and knowledge around the haulage and earthmoving industries and a nous for sales, and this saw him transition into senior sales positions for some of Western Australia’s major mining entities.

In late 2020, Harry teamed up with Dan Fulton to launch WA Haulage Group, with the view of establishing the company as a major player in the Western Australia haulage and transport markets. Using his well-developed commercial acumen and client engagement expertise, Harry spearheads the commercialisation and capability growth of WA Haulage Group.

Mick

With more than thirty years’ experience in the civil construction, mining and haulage industries, Mick brings a wealth of knowledge and experience with him to his role of Operations Manager. With extensive experience in similar management roles, including managing fleets of more than 100 trucks and plant items, combined with his experience supervising civil construction and underground coal mining crews, Mick is an expert in all things machinery and materials related.

Managing WA Haulage’s fleet, workshop operations, and ensuring they meet the requirements of clients and other stakeholders, Mick utilises his broad range of experience to ensure the company achieves optimal financial and operational outcomes.
